About Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Care

We offer several levels of substance use treatment and provide a customized program for each client. Each client starts with a needs-based assessment which then determines the best level of care for the individual. This assessment allows us to determine what care is appropriate on a case-by-case basis.

Our substance abuse treatment center recognizes some of the barriers that men and women face when trying to address specific treatment issues. To ensure that each client feels comfortable, Victory Bay offers optional gender-specific groups.

Victory Bay coordinates travel for prospective clients and can arrange for a professional sober escort if necessary. Although there is a fee for sober escort services, Victory Bay travel arrangements and coordination are included free of charge. Please note that while our admissions experts will coordinate travel, the client is responsible for the purchase price of any incurred travel expenses.

We also offer structured sober living as an opportunity for patients to live in a peer-supported community. During their stay, they are taught life skills, given healthy lifestyle tools, and learn to rely on themselves and a community of like-minded peers to stay sober.

At Victory Bay, the custom-designed outpatient treatment plans our mental health professionals create include the treatment modalities a patient needs at an intensity level that best fits their specific rehabilitation goals.

Group therapy is the process of meeting with a trained professional and at least two other clients in a safe and nurturing space. Group therapy can take place in a therapist’s office or in a group room and sessions can vary depending on the group material and topic. Learn More

We use a combination of advanced psychological methods and personal interaction to address your disorder or behaviors. We can help you overcome your problems in a way that is beneficial for you and those around you. Learn More

12-Step Program

At Victory Bay, we promote an extended care program because the longer a person stays engaged in treatment, the better their chances of achieving and maintaining recovery. Our exceptional care program not only continues our clients' therapeutic work but also teaches them to adjust to the daily aspects of living a sober life in the real world. Learn More

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

Medication-assisted treatment, also known as MAT, uses specific prescription medications—to help our clients sustain their recovery. It works by reducing cravings, blocking the effects of opioids, or normalizing brain chemistry. When used during addiction treatment, MAT combined with counseling, behavioral therapy, and 12 steps modality helps individuals sustain long-term recovery. Learn More

Family Therapy

Addiction is a family disease. The wreckage that an addict causes often leaves a family traumatized and resentful. As part of our family therapy program at Victory Bay, we strongly recommend family members educate themselves about the disease of addiction and learn how best to provide for their loved one. Learn More

Life Skills Training

Addiction affects the entire person, so it is important to treat the individual in every way that the addiction harmed their life. Through options like life skills training and vocational rehabilitation, clients can get their lives back on track. Learn More
