About
Melissa is a Licensed Social Worker who has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Montclair State University and a Masters of Social Work degree from Rutgers University. Melissa successfully completed the Rutgers Addiction Counselor Training (ACT) Certificate Program. Melissa possesses experience providing clinical services to adolescents, adults, families, and groups. Melissa assess and utilizes a variety of interventions and approaches that best match the needs of the client including CBT,DBT, MI, Trauma Focused, Strength-based, and person-centered therapy. Melissa aims to empower and collaborate with her clients throughout their journey to help them explore their emotions, set goals for themselves, identify their own inherent gifts, and look toward the future.
