About
Danielle strives to create a safe space to both listen and advocate for her clients. Danielle believes each individual deserves to learn healthy skills to manage life stressors and mental health symptoms. As a mental health therapist, Danielle is eager to assist clients in learning these skills, achieving goals and contributing to their overall growth. Danielle takes an eclectic, client-centered approach to hone in on clientโs needs and allow them to take an active role in their treatment. Utilizing various CBT and DBT skills, Danielle aims to find the balance between challenging clients’ negative patterns while reminding them that their feelings are valid.
Education
Danielle attended Montclair State University where she graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Family and Child Studies with a concentration in Family Services, a minor in Psychology and a certificate in Child Advocacy. Danielle went on to pursue her passion for mental health at Rutgers University where she graduated in 2022 with her Masters in Social Work and obtained her License in Social Work that year. Over the years, Danielle had the opportunity to grow professionally through various areas of employment and internships. Danielle has worked with diverse clientele varying in age and diagnosis. Danielle has experience working on a treatment team in the PHP and IOP setting providing group and individual therapy.
Why you are passionate about your job?
Danielle is passionate about providing mental healthcare because she believes everyone deserves to achieve a positive mindset and quality of life. Mental health is an ongoing journey, and no one should have to fight alone. Danielle wants to help others to overcome the societal stigma of mental illness through advocacy, awareness, and accessibility.
